All journals (system, database, or user-defined) can be declared and monitored by Quick-EDD/JRN. Features include the ability to create new journals and easily register existing journals. Quick-EDD/JRN also manages the creation of complete journaling environments and ensures their exploitation. Each environment has its own repository, which describes the fields of the entire journalized database. This repository is produced automatically, with numerous possibilities of customization.

Automating The Audit Process
Quick-EDD/JRN lowers the amount of work that is generated by the control processes, by entirely automating the execution of the analysis adapted to each type of control: simple OS/400 message or e-mail for the alerts about sensitive elements, PDF or Excel reports (daily, weekly, monthly) directly available for the right people thanks to e-mail or FTP.

 
 
Multiple reporting tools & formats
Regardless of the mode administrators use to extract data, Quick-EDD/JRN offers a broad range of reports (detailed pictures, synthetic histories, statistics) with different output formats (PDF, Excel, Word, or HTML) and distributes them by e-mail or on a FTP server.
 

Selection of the sensitive information
Quick-EDD/JRN can identify “Concept Sensitive” Events that are potentially fraudulent:

Numerous selection possibilities with standard operators (=, >, <, Like, Range, List...) or by specific programs applicable on all fields, as absolute value or by variation (by value, percentage or specific to dates).

The lists of values to select or omit can be entered or filled by a program or a previous query.
