The software Quick-EDD/OPEN transforms a simple dedicated Windows server into a powerful and low-cost storage manager.
You can attach to this server all the storage you need (internal disks SATA or SAS and/or disks array of any vendor): you can consolidate the storage.
Quick-EDD/OPEN maps the storage to your servers as virtual volumes through Fibre Channel and/or iSCSI: your servers use those disks as if they are their own physical disks.


Enhance the writing performances
on disks

Quick-EDD/OPEN works in block mode, the I/Os are processed by the cache of the EDD/OPEN server.
This architecture raises the writing performances of the application server from 30 to 60%, whatever the storage hardware.
